Hopkins ranked fourth (1,378) and 6th (96) in the receiving yards of the franchise record with 13 touchdown captures.

Dec. 20: DE Jadeveon Clowney has been named Pro Bowl of 2017 after setting the tackle (49), bags (5.0), loss tackles (15) and
quarterback hits (16). Clowney was leading the team and in loss, fights were ranked fourth in the NFL.

28 April: The Texans will swap one position for the 21st overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft to select Notre Dame WR Will Fuller.
22 December: the NFL Pro Bowl 2016 is named WR DeAndre Hopkins and DE J.J. Watt. Hopkins got his first Pro Bowl and would end in reception for the third season (111), yards for the sixth (1,521) and touchdowns for the seventh (11). After the League in Backgrounds (17.5), quarterback hits (50) and loss tackles (29), Watt made a fourth straight trip to the Pro Bowl.
December 3: DE J.J. Watt wins the November AFC Defensive Player after a 7.5 bag record, 26 quarterback hit and nine loss tackles in the month.
